GFX Production: 故弦悠里

It's that time of year again — the annual IFT IC (InFinite Team IRON CHEF)! This year's IC theme is Slashvid , and the editing period will run from July 3 to July 7, 2025

Jointly organized by InFinite Team, MAD Producer, and MAD Film (Beijing) Anime Technology Co., Ltd, with co-organization by AMV France and Soul's Team. The Chinese event leader is 归幌, and the English event leader is ruoqin.

A beam of light split by time — a trial of speed and creativity。
Five days, fixed tracks, an irreversible timeline — participants will be forced to confront the gaps between footage, editing, and instinct, etching traces of vision in the flickers and fractures.

This feels less like a contest and more like a slowly turning projector.
Tapes, lags, fragments, reconstruction — whether you can leave behind a trace of your own depends on how you "slash" that fleeting moment of imagery.

Outstanding creators in this IC will have the opportunity to join InFinite Team without an entrance test (China region only).

Event Schedule

Production period:
From 12:00 PM on July 3, 2025, to 12:00 PM on July 7, 2025 (Beijing Time, CST UTC+8).
Considering that some contestants are not located in China, please verify the contest time in your own time zone. We also provide a countdown feature on the event page for your reference.

Regarding the schedule:
As this contest is the first to be open to international participants, there are many uncertainties. Therefore, the scoring phase, the announcement time for the shortlisted works collection, and the final ranking release time will not be announced in advance for now. We will update the relevant timing information simultaneously on the following platforms:

Songs pack and preview:
We will release the songs pack for contestants to download half an hour before the contest starts on the download page. At the same time, this contest also offers an online music preview service, accessible on the same download page.

Results Announcement:
Please stay tuned to the QQ group chat or other official platforms for follow-up notifications. We will release the results information as soon as possible.

Contest Rules

This edition of IFT IC follows the "MAD Contest Standard Rule" established by the MAD Producer team. For the full rules, please see: https://madproducer.com/archives/1309.

Due to certain standard clauses differing from the requirements of this contest, the following adjustments have been made:

1. Eligibility (Standard Rule 1.1): The original rule allows everyone to participate. This contest adjusts it to only non-judges and non-organizers are allowed to participate.
2. Work Disclosure (Standard Rule 3.2): The original rule requires that works must not be made public before the announcement of the shortlist results. This contest adjusts the rule to prohibit publishing your submissions on any streaming platforms or elsewhere before the contest production period ends.
3. Submission Guidelines (Standard Rule 5): The original rules do not align with this contest. Please refer to the submission guidelines below in this section.

Submission Guidelines

Submission Method:
This contest accepts submissions only via form. Please visit the following link to submit your work and related information:

We will keep your personal information strictly confidential, so please feel free to fill it out.

Confirmation After Submission:
After submitting the form, we will send you an email to confirm whether your submission has passed the basic review (which only checks compliance with the submission rules). If you do not receive any email within 48 hours, please contact us promptly.

Results and Notifications:
The top ten of this contest will be announced on MAD Producer and other official platforms.
All judging results and comments will be sent to the email address you provided in the submission form. The sender’s email will be: [email protected].
Further information about finalists and prize collection will also be communicated via this email. Please make sure your email is entered correctly and can receive messages normally.

Special Reminder:
During the production phase of the contest (i.e., before the deadline), please do not upload your work to any streaming platform to ensure the fairness of the competition.
When uploading to a streaming platform, please include the tag "IFT IC #5" in the title so we can accurately identify your submission.

The songs pack for this contest will be divided into the following categories based on style:

• Special: This category includes tracks with diverse styles and high flexibility, providing more options for contestants who want to showcase creativity freely.

Notice:

• Your submission may only select one category for creation, tracks may not be used across categories.

• But you may use multiple songs within the same category for editing and creation.

MAD Producer is a registered official website, affiliated with MAD Film (Beijing) Anime Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “MAD Film”). This certificate is jointly issued by the contest organizers MAD Producer and MAD Film, serving solely as a personal honor credential. It is suitable for resume display, proof of participation, and similar occasions. This certificate does not constitute a legal document, and the seal is only used to verify the authenticity of the contest and the validity of the judging results. If you have any questions or disputes regarding the issuance of the certificate, please send an email to [email protected] for clarification or resolution.

• Any individual or organization is strictly prohibited from forging or imitating this official seal or related certificates of honor. • For participants outside mainland China, due to the high cost of international postage and the risk of international mail loss, unless you win first place, the finalist prizes and honor certificates will be provided only in electronic format.
