About EAC:

The EAC (Eclipse AMV Contest) is a MAD event organized by the Eclipse Mad Club on the Bilibili platform. This is the inaugural edition of the contest, which welcomes any style of MAD and invites creators of all genres to participate for a chance to win great prizes!

Competition Rules

The EAC is now officially open for registration. All submissions will be screened based on quality. Creators who wish to participate can join the event QQ group(703478259) Submit your works according to the submission guidelines for registration.

This year's event,there are no restrictions on any MAD styles.All mainstream and niche MAD styles are eligible to participate.

The organizing team members and judges are all allowed to participate in the competition.

Submission Guidelines

1. Submission requirements:

The video must be in MP4 format, encoded with H.264 or x264. The minimum resolution is 1080p (no strict aspect ratio restrictions, just keep it reasonable). The bitrate should be as high as possible (e.g., CRF-14 or VBR-10000). Submissions must be in compressed archive format.Include your work, a description of your piece, and any additional comments in the compressed archive. Lastly, attach links to your mainstream social media profiles, along with screenshots of your social media pages and project screenshots.

The compressed archive should be named as: "xxxxx's competition entry".Then, simply send the compressed archive to the submission email.

Each individual may submit up to one entry. Additionally, collaborative MEP entries are also limited to one submission per person. Proxy submissions are not allowed (only the author themselves may submit; for MEPs, the submission must be made by the MEP leader using their own email).

Previously published works are not accepted, and submissions must remain unpublished until the results are announced.No submissions to any platform are allowed.If there are any reports or findings, once verified, the participant will be disqualified.

2.Submission Requirements：

All submissionsMust be longer than 20 seconds and no longer than 10 minutes.And,loops of any kind are not allowed.(Repeatedly using edited segments to extend duration is not allowed.)

Obvious plagiarism, imitation of others' segments, three-edited works, vulgar or sensitive content, and unfinished submissions are not allowed (drawing inspiration is permitted).

MEP submissions are accepted, but a document inside the compressed archive must list all authors' IDs and profile links.

Submissions must include the EAC event logo, which can be creatively placed within the video. You may modify its color and add effects for appropriate beautification. If the logo is not found in the submission, it will be considered invalid.

The submission must follow the above format; otherwise, it will be considered invalid.

Event Schedule:

The event begins on January 1, 2024, at midnight (00:00).

Submissions close on July 15, 2024, at midnight (00:00).

The results will be announced on July 26, 2024.

（You may submit at any time between the event start date and the submission deadline.）

During the evaluation period, we will organize a live viewing session for judges. Details are as follows:

Event Prizes:

The prize pool is as follows:

First place:First place: 2000 RMB + one merchandise gift + first place medal + champion trophy.

Second place:Second place: 1000 RMB + one merchandise gift + second place medal.

Third place:Third place: 500 RMB + one merchandise gift + third place medal.

Best Composite Effects:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Best Creativity:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Best Storyline Arrangement:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Best Storyboard:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Best Style:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Best Still-image-style MAD:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Best Animation-style MAD:100 RMB + one merchandise gift.(If there are additional awards, only one merchandise gift will be given.)

Participation Award:One merchandise gift.(From fourth to seventh place, each participant will receive one merchandise gift.)

Special Statement: The minor awards for this event can be combined (regardless of the ranking achieved, minor awards can be accumulated, but merchandise gifts cannot be). MEP and individual awards are the same (how to divide them is up to you).
